Finance for Workforce Planners

Workforce planning is such an overlooked and under-appreciated discipline. It’s the sort of essential background service that only gets noticed when something goes horribly wrong. Thanks to the skills and dedication of NHS workforce planners that very seldom happens. It was fascinating to spend the day with an excellent group of people who were endlessly curious about why finance do the things they do and what the two disciplines could do to better co-ordinate services to managers and to each other.
