In the NHS, marketing does not always seem relevant. After all, isn’t it just about selling and advertising? Today’s Marketing Yourself and Your Service workshop in Wyboston Lakes was a fascinating insight into how useful many of the marketing techniques used outside the NHS can be in creating a patient-led NHS and in ensuring equity of service delivery. Here are just some of the comments from delegates (all reproduced with kind written permission):
“This has been an excellent, highly informative course, which I will be able to apply in my current and future roles in the NHS. I look forward to attending future training days.” – Katherine Joel, Community Commissioning Manager, NHS North East Essex
“Excellent” – Neil West, Associate Director, SEPT
“The workshop was well structured and applicable to the variety of professionals in the room.” – Mayuri Dave, Principal Speech and Language Therapist, Hertfordshire Community Health Services
