Today was a really fulfilling day with an enthusiastic group attending The NHS Budget Holder’s Survival Guide in Cambridge.
Comments from today’s event include (with written permission gratefully received from each participant):
“A fantastically informative and fun day. Who’d have thought NHS finance could be so interesting and humorously presented!” – Kyle McClelland, Associate Director – Strategic Developments, West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust
“Fab course – really learned a lot and had a really good time too. Thank you.” – Alex Moffat, Network Manager, NSC Critical Care Network
“Thank you David. I think I have completed all of your courses now! Keep up the good work and the humour – it makes learning so much easier! All the best.” – Peter King, Head of Service Improvement (ICT), Essex CSU
“I think you’re great.” – Jane Mulreany, Head of PMO, Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
It’s always interesting to see how people’s confidence in interpreting financial reports can be transformed in just a day. I’ve spent two decades doing finance training within the NHS and have developed a Seven Step Method for interpreting financial reports using seven questions, making three calculations and taking no more than 15 minutes. It works every time.
Many thanks to everyone who made the day so successful.
