A very pleasurable day today at The King’s Fund in central London with participants in the Strategic Medical Director Programme. It’s always a challenge when NHS clinicians take on a Board position and the range of development and support events customised specifically to the needs of senior leaders is quite limited. It’s been a pleasure for me to design a customised programme to deal with the real need to get clinicians and finance staff to engage in constructive dialogue.
